Eligibility Criteria for NERIST Recruitment 2016 -
Age :- As per North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology rules
Educational Qualification :- Candidates should have a Ph.D. with first class in Master’s or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years’ experience out of which at least 05 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research and a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy paper for the posts of Professor, Ph.D. with first class in Master’s or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of eight years’ of experience of teaching and/or research at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy paper for the posts of Associate Professor , a Master’s with 1st class or equivalent or B.Tech Degree first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch of Engg. with a very good academic record throughout. For Science and Humanities Group,NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for the posts of Assistant Professor.
Application Fee : - Candidates should be pay Rs. 500/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, NERIST and payable at SBI Nirjuli (Code No.9535), Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. No Application fee for SC/ST candidates .
How to Apply :- All Eligible and Interested candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with the API score card, and the summary sheet send by e-mail to recruitment2016@nerist.ac.in. The signed hard copy of the application along with certified copies of all certificates/ documents, two copies of passport size photograph (one should be pasted on the form), and a non-refundable application fee send by Registered/Speed Post to the Registrar, NERIST, Nirjuli, Pin –791109, Arunachal Pradesh on or before 02 August 2016, in an envelope superscribed with “Application for the post of ____”.
