Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Recruitment 2016 -

Age :- Candidates should have completed 18 year and not be more then 45 years for Madras High Court service and Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service &  18 to 35 years For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (OBCM)s, BCMs and DWs of all castes & Candidates should have completed 18 year and not be more then 30 years For All Others as on 01 July 2016.

Educational Qualification :- Candidates should  have a Bachelor Degree  in  Science,  Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline of a recognised University in  Indian  Union,in  10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern or Government Technical Examination in Shorthand and Typewriting in English – Higher Grade and a Certificate  Course in Computer on Office Automation conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education for the posts of Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judges/Typist, a Any  Bachelor Degree in Science/Arts/Commerce/Engineering/Medicine or any other discipline of a recognised University in Indian Union,in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern for the posts of Personal Assistant, passed  the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand  and Typewriting  in  English –Higher  Grade and Shorthand and Typewriting in Tamil - Higher Grade or passed  the  Certificate  Course in Computer on Office Automation conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education for the posts of Personal Clerk, a Bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications from a recognised University of Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern OR Any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline of a recognised University in Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with a diploma in Computer Applications from any recognised University or any Institute recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education and Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting in English and Tamil by Higher / Senior Grade For the posts of Computer Operator, a  Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline of a Recognised University in Indian Union, in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern for the posts of Reader/Examiner/Cashier/Xerox Operator.
   
Selection Process :- The Candidates Selection will be based on Written Examination & Oral Test.

Application Fee : - Candidates should be pay Rs. 125/- for Register their basic particulars through One -Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs. 50/- towards registration fee. Candidates have to pay application fee in the form of Online. No application fee for SC/ST/Differently Abled Persons.
