Eligibility Criteria TRB Tamil Nadu Recruitment 2016 -
Age :- Candidates Upper age Limit is 57 years as on 01 July 2016. As per G.O M.S No.157 dated 15 September 2014 Higher Education Department
Educational Qualification :- Candidates should have a B.E. or B.Tech and M.E. or M.Tech. in the relevant Branch of Engineering or Technology with First Class or its equivalent either in B.E for the posts of Assistant Professors (Engineering Subjects), A B.Tech. / M.E. or M.Tech or Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with good academic record with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University, and Pass in the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research for the posts of Assistant Professors (Non - Engineering Subjects).
Selection Process:- The Candidates will be selected based on written competitive examination.
Application Form :- The OMR Application Form along with Prospectus can be purchased in person from the Office of the Chief Educational Officers of all 32 Districts in Tamilnadu on payment of Rs.100/- from 17 August 2016 to 07 September 2016.
Application Fee :- Candidates should be pay Rs.300/- for SC/ST & Rs.600/- for all other Candidates. The fee should be paid by the candidates in any Branch of State Bank of India/ Indian Overseas Bank using only the prescribed challan attached with the prospectus. Payment of examination fees in any other method will not be accepted.
How to Apply :- All Eligible and Interested candidates can apply in prescribed format and send to the Office of the Chief Educational Officer concerned Districts on or before 07 September 2016 and obtain acknowledgment for the same.For more details read the official notification.
